Jeff Kinney made Poptropica, an online, role-playing game owned by Pearson PLC which also owns kids’ site FunBrain.com.  The site is aimed at children ages 6 to 15. Players can go to different islands, compete in multiplayer games, and communicate with each other. Players are given several quests, called islands, which they are encouraged to complete.

FunBrain is an educational browser game website for children and adults. The website was founded in May 1992 and is owned by Family Education Network, a division of Pearson Education. It provides mathematics and kid style games. A popular feature of  FunBrain.com is the continuous story Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
